About Neil
Neil is currently pursuing a Doctoral programme into the utilisation of psychological models of mind and of communication in the design of technological presentations (including website and virtual design). His first degree was in Information Technology and Media and he has studied English Literature and Psychology at degree level in support of his PhD.
Since 1998, Neil has been investigating hypnosis, suggestion and NLP and is trained to practitioner and coach level in the latter.
A former member of the Plymouth Magic Circle, Neil’s interest in the way that people make decisions led him to begin investigation into mental processes and how to influence them.
After considerable success of his primary experiments into the utilisation of influencing techniques on websites during a degree and favourable feedback from the business community, Neil set up Myo International, a consultancy based in Plymouth, UK to disseminate his techniques to radically improve sales via the internet. It soon became apparent that these techniques can easily be applied to printed and other virtual media.
